What is "For His Eyes Only"?
"For His Eyes Only" is intimate and tasteful boudoir photography. When I started doing it, it was only brides, but now it is also requested by women who want to give beautiful photos of themselves to their husband or boyfriend. Some women even want to do it just for themselves.

 

Where did this idea come from?

In Sweden, where I come from, there is a tradition that the man gives the woman a gift on their first morning as a married couple. This gift is called the "morning gift" and is usually jewelry. Recently, there has been a trend for women to give a morning gift to their new husbands, a collection of romantic, sensual and sexy photographs of herself.

 

How does it work?
The photography session can be done months or weeks before the wedding and then be put together as a gift for the groom , or it can be done the morning of the actual wedding to capture the emotions of that day as well. I photograph the brides at home or in a hotel room or other comfortable space, with natural light.

Each bride dictates what she wants to convey in her photos. Some go for romance while others take the opportunity to be a little more risqué. There can be a bridal feel to the photos, with white lingerie and bridal accessories such as a veil, or there can be more of an every-day sexy feel. This is something that should be intimate and personal that
makes the bride feel beautiful and makes the groom very very happy, and they always are.
